Lucinda Fredericks- Southern Stars Saddlery Designer
For many budding event riders, to compete at a three-day event is their dream, for some, tt is to complete Badminton.  For Lucinda, her mantra is to ‘ride at four-star well’. To ride well would hardly be a problem.

Lucinda has a three-day event record that spans being a member of Britain’s junior and young rider teams to taking the titles at Windsor and Blair two-star events and Blenheim three-star, often on more than one occasion.

It is her partnership with the wonderful Headley Britannia for which Lucinda is best known, and "Little Brit" pretty much has her own fan club! In 2006 Lucinda entered Burghley CCI4* All week Lucinda said she’d pull up if the mare felt over-faced, but on the course the partnership set sail in what has been described as one of the most exemplary displays of cross-country riding of all time. Lucinda achieved her aim.  She rode at a four-star well, and she lifted the Land Rover trophy too.  Few were not in tears that day, including the huge number of riders that Lucinda has helped over the past.

Since then she has added a Badminton and Kentucky win to their record together.  In 2008 Lucinda and Brit were pathfinders for the Australian Olympic Silver medal winning team, finshing double clear after a cracking dressage test.  Lucinda once again is aiming for selection for the 2012 Australian Olympic Team.  She completed sucessfully at Badminton 2011, on Prada- it was the mare's first 4 star and she finished in 16th place out of 130 entries.

Always willing to train or offer the odd word of advice or support, Lucinda therefore has a huge band of loyal followers. Her energy and perfectionism has enabled many riders to achieve beyond their dreams and helped the team create a dream home for her, Clayton and Ellie.
